Samehada // Hoshigaki Kisame (干柿鬼鮫)

This is my first time playing Kisame, so I probably fail. Please feel free to tell me in what way!

[There's blood dropped and smeared across the page - blood that is diluted by water, leaving rings of fading brown as it spreads.]

I tracked one to Fisher Isle, Kiba-san.

Chop off the legs first and they're no challenge.

[Rain on stone and packed earth, insistent and heavy - the kind that drives straight down from the sky and bounces back up as if it strives to reach the clouds again. It's almost deafening, the sound of it - echoing against rock - and for a while there is nothing to interrupt its erratic rhythm. Then there's the scrape of shoe on stone and a voice that is almost drowned by the intensity of the downpour - Samehada's - his tone conversational despite the underlying air of disgust.]

"It hasn't let up one bit. It's odd for it to be raining so much here, especially at this time of year."

[More movement - another clatter of feet on stone and the splash of a puddle that is greeted by a gruff sound of surprise from the speaker.]

"We shouldn't stay out here for too long."

[The voice is louder this time - loud enough to carry over the rain that is somehow quieter now, though joined by the unmistakeable spatter of water on cloth. And the tone has changed too. Now it carries an edge of something more - the undercurrent of a threat - of a circling danger that swims beneath the calm surface of the words.]

"Look, I don't know what you're thinking, and given how ruthless you are it's strange to say this... but from here it looks like you're crying.

"It's certainly a shame about your little brother. Now you're the sole member of the [a sudden burst of static that obscures the word] -a Clan."

[A quiet shift that sounds like cloth on cloth. But the sentence is barely ended when another voice responds . Cold and quiet - completely lacking emotion - it cuts through the rain effortlessly. Those who knew him in the Sphere will recognise it as belonging to Crow.]

"No. He's not dead yet. And besides...."

[In the pause, the clamour of the rain lessens, breaking up into the more distinguishable sounds of individual drops hitting the earth and splashing into the gathered pools of its own making.]

"What?"

[Silence again, though it's a silence filled with unspoken words and punctuated by the drip-drip-drip of water.]

"...The storm... has passed."

My blade needs the exercise.

Don't expect me to go easy on you, kid.

Hey Kiba-san - anyone comes looking for me, I'll be at the Dojo.

[OOC: Yeah, he cleared out his Section One place and moved into the dojo. For the purpose of tying off loose ends from idle-outs, I'm going to assume that Crow showed him how to set and unset the traps that were all over the living quarters, or else someone will end up getting accidentally killed one day. I guess Samehada gets to level up to some Scroll Use as a result.

It goes withouit saying that any time Justice is at the Dojo, Samehada wil be mysteriously absent. GDIT muses, stop making the same friends.]

Given that Samehada is not the most likely to advertise other people's affairs over the journals, I'm noting his reactions to the dreams he receives in Revolving Reveries here, just for reference.

There's a storm coming.

[OOC: He doesn't know what kind, but he can smell it in the air. Take it as you will. Yes, he's out in the woods again.]

If you woke up in a long black coat and a pair of black pants with a patch over the knee, they're mine.

I guess it could be worse. I could live without the bells.

[So Samehada has been inflicted with WARDROBE MALFUNCTION. For the next three days, he will be dressed as Kenpachi Zaraki. This means he will have the clothes, the shoes and the eyepatch, and while his hair won't be getting the full Liberty 'do, he will get bells on the ends of his own hair spikes. He will NOT get Kenpachi's Zanpakutō.]

[Words appear a little quicker than previously - he's getting used to this handwriting nonsense. But it's still devoid of any flourish and slightly oversized.]

If you're short-handed, I'm available. I decided to camp out in the woods for a while. 

I'd say I was just spreading my wings, but I guess some people wouldn't find that joke to their taste.

[OOC: He's slightly lying. He does find the fairies kinda creepy, but he has had another reason to go live in the woods. In return for his memory crystal, Samehada is going to be followed by the JAWS theme for three days. "If he gets too excited or upset about something the music will intensify! If he is at peace it's a dull sound. This lasts for 3 days." Poor man XD]
